SHR-50 High-Speed Turbo Mixer Introduction:

The SHR-50 is a compact high-speed turbo mixer in which material is heated and homogenized by its own motion. Paddle blades rotating at up to 1440 rpm throw the batch along the vessel wall and force a continuous up-and-down circulation; the resulting inter-particle and particle-to-blade friction raises the temperature rapidly — ideal when resins must absorb liquid plasticizers, or when pigments and additives must be dispersed and coated.

Construction & Working Principle:

The unit consists of a base frame, mixing vessel, vessel lid, transmission, lifting arrangement, discharge outlet and electrical control cabinet.

  • Mixing vessel — welded stainless steel; inner surface hardened, smooth, wear- and corrosion-resistant, non-sticking; insulation layer on the outside.
  • Vessel lid — stainless steel, inner face precision-turned and polished; two heat-resistant rubber seals, Ø70 mm exhaust port and one liquid-atomizing connection. Open gently to avoid knocking the wall.
  • Deflector plate — upper-inner wall, 35° angle, intensifies mixing; carries the thermocouple for temperature display and automatic discharge.
  • Agitator & drive — paddle set driven by the motor via V-belt pulleys; clockwise rotation keeps material moving along the wall while circulating up and down.
  • Motor — single-speed motor with variable-frequency control: press Start, turn the regulator to change speed.
  • Discharge unit — stainless steel casting with pneumatic discharge door, cylinder and door in-line; reliable clamping, good sealing, flexible opening. Needs one 0.39–0.49 MPa air compressor (customer-supplied). Discharge controlled automatically by material temperature or manually.
  • Main shaft — bearing-supported; upper part carries three paddle sets. Friction heat raises material temperature quickly, improving resin absorption of plasticizer. Machined stainless blades — wear- and corrosion-resistant.
